Henderson Brews Modern Take on Historical Beer

OLD TORONTO (DOWNTOWN), TORONTO – Canadian Beer News reported that Henderson Brewing Co. has brewed a unique beer with historical roots for a special event at the Gardiner Museum, near Queens Park. They have brewed a modern take on chicha, a beer from ancient Central and South American cultures that was made with grain, maize, or fruit and fermented in pots. Henderson used locally made ceramic pots. The beer will be shared among the guests at Gardiner Museum’s Maker Break series of events, where tickets are $25-30 dollars for the Saturday, September 29th event which runs from 1 to 3 pm.
