YORK, TORONTO – Indie Ale House announces via Instagram their 6th Annual Stout Night will be held on Saturday, December 16th from 12 pm to 4 pm down the road at 213 Sterling Rd.
This beer festival is centered around stouts and similar variants, to which Indie Ale House proclaims is “not for the light beer drinker”. Styles to be expected are barrel aged stouts, milk stouts, west coast style stouts, sour stouts, and of course Imperial stouts such as their famous Zombie Apocalypse which will have an early release for its 2017 batch. Also included will be limited samplings of previous batches, some as far back as 2012. Confirmed breweries are Amsterdam, Bellwoods, Fairweather, Godspeed, Great Lakes, Halo, Merit, Rainhard, Redline, and of course, themselves.
Included in the $20 (+ fees) price of admission is a tasting glass and welcome beer. Additional drink tickets will be available for purchase at the event, but their cost has not yet been released. The event 19+ (no minors), is cash only, and an ATM will not be on site. Food will be available for purchase. A full beer list will be released closer to the date.
