YORK, TORONTO – The second annual Wild Things Fest comes to Junction Craft Brewing on Saturday, June 2nd to showcase wild-fermented beer and more after last year’s wildly successful entrance to Toronto’s craft beer festival scene. Organized by the ever talented Beer Sisters and Erica Campbell, this festival only pours wines, ciders, and beers made with wild or indigenous yeast strains to zero in on that funk flavour profile. Expect everything from mild earthiness and overripe fruit to tartness and barnyard funk.
This year’s event will be held at Junction Craft Brewing’s Destructor from 12 pm to 7 pm with tickets at $35 that includes tasting glass sponsored by Stoneycreek Glassware and three drink tickets. Additional tokens are $2.50 with most 5 oz samples costing one token and a select few at two. Also available is a tutored tasting an hour before opening with The Grape Witches and Beer Sisters themselves. Food will be provided by ProvisionsTO and media partner The Growler will present the Wild Beer Bottle Bar.
Tickets available here.
