ETOBICOKE, TORONTO – Black Oak Brewing Co. announced over the weekend that they’ve launched a new series of barrel aged beers. The first rendition is Major Oak, a barrel aged sour that is named after the tree that Robin Hood took haven inside in the heart of Sherwood Forest. Aged for 10 months in Rioja barrels, this brew exhibits classic barnyard flavours of brett with pineapple tartness and acidity while finishing dry with a hint of oak and dark stone fruit. Available for a limited time in 650 mL bottles at their brewery, including for order online.
