OLD TORONTO (WEST), TORONTO – Folly Brewing posted on Instagram that they’ve restocked their fridge since selling out recently, and have included some new beers and recipes.
Dazzling Gleam is a new mixed-fermentation saison featuring two types of saison yeast and three bretts. There’s some light lemony character thanks to pH adjustments made with citric acid, which complements the citrusy Amarillo and Mandarina Bavaria hops.
The latest iteration of their pale ale Rhizome features Azacca and Ekuanot hops, giving it notes of papaya, mango, and tangerine.
Another batch of their new porter, Jittery Zeitgeist, has been tweaked to provide more rich chocolate flavours and is now fermented with an Escarpment Labs‘ Hornindal Kveik yeast blend giving some light orange and caramel notes to complement Hale Coffee‘s nutty Honduras Las Quebraditas beans.
Lastly (on the new beer front), a small portion of their recent new fruity farmhouse ale, Scattered Objects, has been bottled for sale. Previously released on the new nitro taps, Scattered Objects is lightly fruited with cranberries and cherries to provide some tart notes.
(The fifth bottle pictured is a fresh stock of Dovercourt – their juicy Mosaic dry-hopped pale ale).
