WHERE THE BIG SMOKE COMES FROM, TORONTO – As first reported by OBN, Hamilton’s Collective Arts Brewing is coming out with four more new releases in the coming weeks in addition to the recently announced Raspberry Milkshake IPA.
Mashup The Jam is a dry hop sour that will enter their year-round lineup. Loaded with Nelson Sauvin hops from New Zealand and Vic Secret from Yakima Valley, this is a juicy and refreshing sour. Available at the brewery starting January 20th and in the LCBO come February.
IPA #5 rolls out in their IPA series and is a New England style Double Dry Hopped Double IPA. Massive amounts of Simcoe and Citra hops bring this up to 8.2% abv. and off the IBU charts.
There will be an Imperial Stout collaboration with Iceland’s KEX Brewing, using Omnom dark cocao nibs for huge dark chocolate notes, Vanilla and Lactose to aid in body and complexity, and Icelandic Seat Salt for a finishing touch. Coming in at 8.2% abv. and 60 IBUs, expecting it in the brewery store February 3rd.
There’s also a cider collaboration with New York’s Graft Cider called Floating in the Void. Notes of vanilla, lemon, blackberries, and tart cherries. Coming in at 6.4% abv. and available January 26th.
